GDP are the preferred suppliers of Equality and Diversity Learning to Kirklees Metropolitan Council (KMC).

We are currently working with KMC on delivering a two day course on Equalities and Diversity for their Leadership Academy. All participants are senior managers and represent all service areas of the Council.

The need for the training was highlighted through research conducted into future leaders for KMC, results of the BVPIs and response from the Audit Commission. The key outcome of the training is to assist KMC to progress in the Equality Standard.

Results highlight a positive response and the integration of diversity into business planning processes and core Leadership Competencies. We have also provided coaching to Kirklees Council employees.
