GDP Case Study : Standard Chartered Bank
GDP Services and Products:
• Standard Chartered Bank – Diversity and Inclusion forum
• Developing an International Mindset for HIPO
We were the preferred supplier for Standard Chartered Bank in which we were responsible for their complete Equality and Diversity Inclusion programme in providing end to end bespoke diversity solutions. Standard Chartered Bank is a leading International Bank and they are located in 50 countries across the world including Africa, Asia and America. We worked closely with their Diversity Council to ensure a joined up approach to Standard Chartered Banks D&I Strategy, vision and aims.
To date we have provided the Head of Diversity Council with consultancy on delivering a global conference for senior managers including a series of interactive activities to develop their diversity competence. These events are supported by the Chief Executive and have proved to be a necessary catalyst in the drive to integrate diversity in senior manager’s toolkits. Country managers are being assisted through further coaching and consultancy to progress the agenda for Standard Chartered. We have designed and delivered successful programmes including conferences, workshops and facilitated training sessions.
Diversity and Inclusion Forum in Singapore
We designed a conference for the top talent from across the world including 60 HIPO bank employees from a range of sectors and this event has been evaluated as a significant milestone in the journey for the bank. It has engaged their leadership team and helped to launch the journey for the way ahead.
Our sessions were based around developing an International Mindset, which included delivering sessions on Micro inequities, Cross Cultural Competence, The Business Case for Diversity, Celebrating the Cultural Heritage of the Bank, Reviewing Structures and Processes for Succession Planning for Exceptional Talent Management, Organisational and Individual Diversity Action Planning.
